…As one of the most expensive/innovative marketing campaigns ever launched, Pepsi’s Refresh Everything is the beverage behemoth’s attempt to make a positive impact using charitable donations and digital media. Every month, Pepsi gives away $1.7 Million to user-submitted social projects. However, some of these submissions are just odd. Below are a few projects that put a bizarre spin on social good.
Newark Now ($250k)
Concept: Create a Social Media Video Project Around the People of Newark
Ever since Cory Booker put Newark back on the map with his Batmanesque Night Patrols, local organizations have joined in to rebuild the city’s reputation.
