Unemployment Tops 20% in Eight California Counties

For many California areas, unemployment rates moved persistently higher in January, indicating that the national economic recovery hasn’t yet translated into jobs for the Golden State. The state’s jobless rate of 12.5% in January was its worst on record and fifth-highest in the nation, but for eight counties it is over 20%.

…Fascinating to an outsider. Now my 3rd attempt to add something. Grrr. I was flabbergasted by your folly to all but idle the Central Valley last summer over some small fish. By now you should be canning what you gathered in, selling what you produced worldwide, filling granaries worldwide (again) with your bounty, getting the lands ready for another bumper yield, refurbishing your water supplies, gathering in the winter wheat, and refertilizing the fields for another simply glorious harvest which the Almighty has enabled you to do better than almost any other area anywhere. Just stop belly-aching, put the little fish in some aquarium in a reasonable amount (in itself work for another 500 or so). Yeah, just thank God for what He has given you there, and if any gov’t bureaucrats come by to dispute the activities of thousands and thousands of you in workgloves and picks and shovels in hand, just tell them to stop spitting in His face and to rejoice with you for such Providence. AND GET THE WORK STARTED AGAIN…..
